As we've now moved out of the area sadly we won't be able to use Fetch and Walk to care for Fluffy and Smudge. The care and attention Elaine has given to our two furry friends has been exceptional from day one.

Elaine always let us know how our cats were when we were away and it was such a relief coming home to such contented cats who clearly loved being looked after and fussed by Fetch and Walk!

If Jake had opposable thumbs I am sure that he would write this testimonial himself. However, the fact that he hasn't quite mastered the art of writing, does not prevent him from communicating his joy when he sees Lorraine, from Fetch and Walk. This, from a dog who is frightened of most things, most especially people he doesn't know, is testament to Lorraine, who has established a strong relationship with him. She anticipates and manages all his 'funny little ways' (typical of a border collie) by her kind, calm but firm approach and has helped him increase in confidence and settle into a bright and happy dog. Jake is well-exercised, and returns from his walks happily tired.

From our point of view, we are so grateful to know that Lorraine genuinely cares about Jake's safety and general welfare, and know that he will have a wonderful time when he is with her. Lorraine is always willing to add in an extra walk if we are likely to be away for a few hours for which we are extremely grateful.

George here, I’m a Parson and Jack Russell Terrier cross currently living in Market Harborough. I’m a big fan of walks but unfortunately my owners aren’t always around to join me.

However they have kindly arranged for the girls at Fetch and Walk to come along with me when they can’t. We sometimes go for a short drive, I always feel very secure in the back of the car and meet up with other dogs. But more often walk straight from my home. Taking in the local smells, vistas and wildlife. I’m a big fan of wildlife, although it doesn’t always appear to be so pleased to see me.

After my walks, I normally get a quick rub down, a top up of water and a T.R.E.A.T. (my owners think I can’t spell, I ask you!) Before I settle down for a well earned rest, back in the safety of my home.

I’ve got to know everyone at Fetch and Walk well over the last year or so and hope we’ll keep meeting up for our walks. My owners also say they are very happy with their experience and find everyone very professional and flexible.

The girls who walk my Jack are so caring and loving, he gets excited when I tell him they are coming to take him for a walk.  They are also very flexible on walking time and days, as sometimes I need to change the arrangement and there is never a problem. I really wouldn't be without them.

Having searched high and low to find a dog boarder for my young cockapoo (visiting 4 before you!) I was over the moon to find such a wonderful home environment.  Having visited 4 before, I decided the best way to find someone was via Harborough District Council's licensed dog boarders. They inspect everything, being, I believe, one of the toughest councils from whom to win approval. I am so glad I found you and I can see why you are approved.

As soon as Saffie (my young cockapoo) and I met Mary and her husband at her lovely home, I felt immediately this was a perfect home from home for Saffie and indeed she started to play immediately! I was delighted to finally find somewhere I was happy to leave her.

As I was going on holiday I decided the best way was to leave her for one day a week for a few weeks to help her settle in. On the first day she stayed with you it was worse leaving her than leaving my children when they started school! But I needn't have worried. When I arrived to pick her up I was not convinced she wanted to come home!

It was much much easier leaving her when we flew to America knowing she was somewhere where she was so happy and well cared for. Your flexibility for dropping her off and picking her is very much appriecated.

When we arrived in the USA it was wonderful to get your email, saying she was fine. It was wonderful of you to send us pictures, in fact we looked forward to seeing them and we felt that we weren't missing out so much! Knowing she was so happy and well cared for really helped us relax.

A huge thank you to you, your husband, and your boys for looking after my baby so well. I only worry that you'll get so many bookings you won't be able to fit Saffie in!

Mary provided the usual great care for Oban while we were off sunning ourselves – we think he had as good a holiday as we did! – The Fetch and Walk team have looked after Oban for us for the past two years nothing is too much trouble for them, offering smashing, flexible and consistently excellent care for our dog.
